By installing the Lookz mobile app or browsing lookzbook.com, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

These terms set the rules between you and Lookz when you use either surface of the product.

Lookz is an AI beauty preview app. You upload a selfie and the app generates previews of hairstyles, beard shapes, makeup looks, and nail designs on your own face. Previews are produced by an AI model.

Previews are approximations intended to help you decide before booking a salon, buying a product, or committing to a change. They are not a guarantee of how a real-world result will look.

• You must be at least 13 years old (16+ in the EU and the UK) to use Lookz.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of any information you provide.
• Keep your account credentials safe and report any unauthorised access promptly.
• You are responsible for activity that happens through your account.

You retain ownership of your photos and the previews Lookz generates from them. By uploading, you grant Lookz the limited, revocable licence we need to process the photo, generate your preview, and store the result in your library. Nothing more.

You confirm that:

• You have the right to upload the photo (it's yours, or you have explicit permission from the person in it).
• The content is not inappropriate, illegal, or infringing.

Content that violates these confirmations may be removed without notice.

You may not use Lookz to:

• Create non-consensual imagery, sexual content, or any depiction of minors in a non-childlike context.
• Upload photos of people who have not given you permission.
• Harass, defame, impersonate, or mislead anyone.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute Lookz previews as your own product.
• Scrape the app or site, run automated tools against the service, reverse-engineer the AI model, or bypass rate limits.
• Upload malware, exploits, or other harmful content.

Violations may result in account suspension or termination, with or without notice depending on severity.

Lookz is free to start. Generating previews uses credits inside the app. Some premium features require a subscription.

Subscriptions are sold and renewed through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play according to their terms. Auto-renewal can be turned off in your store account at any time. Refunds follow the platform's own refund policy.

EU users: you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a new subscription, provided you have not used the paid features. To exercise this right, contact us at the address in section 16.

Lookz, the Lookz wordmark, the app design, the website, and the underlying AI model are owned by Lookz and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer our software, misuse our trademarks, or access systems you are not authorised to access.

Your privacy is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Lookz you consent to the data practices described there.

Lookz may offer experimental or beta features clearly labelled as such. These features are provided as is, may be unstable, and may be modified or discontinued at any time without notice.

Lookz is provided as is and as available. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully accurate. AI-generated previews are approximations; actual hair, beard, makeup, and nail outcomes depend on your hair texture, skin reaction, the professional executing the service, and many other factors.

Do not rely on Lookz previews as medical, dermatological, or professional cosmetology advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lookz and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

Total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you have paid to Lookz in the twelve months preceding the claim, or €50, whichever is higher.

You may stop using Lookz at any time by deleting your account in the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, that have been inactive for two years or longer, or at our reasonable discretion to protect the service and its users.

Before any formal dispute, please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue quickly. Contact details are in section 16.

EU users may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr or contact their local consumer protection authority.

We may update these terms as the product evolves or the law requires. Material changes will be flagged in the app and on this page at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of Lookz after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the law applicable to the operator, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the operator's competent courts, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country of residence grant you the right to sue in your local courts.
